  Introducing Jump-O-Bot

Dear all, One of the unsolved challenges posed by the authors of the very fine "Building Robots with Lego Mindstorms" is to construct a robot that propels itself jumping, rather than walking on legs or rolling on wheels. Neither pretty nor smart, (...) (23 years ago, 12-Feb-02, to lugnet.technic, lugnet.robotics, lugnet.build, lugnet.cad)

  Re: New MOC: Arrowhead

(...) Hey, this is pretty sweet! I had to look back a couple of times to see how you did the side fins - I thought for a second that they were new parts. Very nice plate sculpting. I like it.   Re: New Stories from the New Testament

(...) Considering that the majority of Biblical citations made by religious zealouts engage in just as selective censorship, I think that The Reverend's approach merely provides some much needed balance. --Bill.   Re: Repost:BricksWest:Largest Sig-Fig Gathering Ever!

(...) Well, it would be nice to have a picture with all the attendees in it. (...) Hmm, I still haven't really picked a sig-fig yet. I may have to do that tonight.   Re: Repost:BricksWest:Largest Sig-Fig Gathering Ever!

(...) Why not take two fig shots - one with only attendees, and one that includes the "chaperoned" figs? Also, the shot of human attendees should only include those who bring figs. So I guess I'd better try to put together a sig-fig, then. --Bill. (23 years ago, 12-Feb-02, to lugnet.build.minifigs, lugnet.events.brickswest)

Re: New Stories from the New Testament

I too have noticed Brendon's "cherry picking" of the scriptures for his site. Since I don't take his site as a reference source but more of a entertainment site (and I believe that is how he takes it also) it doesn't bother me. I hope that others (...)   Re: New Stories from the New Testament

Hey Brendon, It's a riot how you pick and skip and choose your verses. I actually picked up the Bible for myself and looked up your references. It's cute how you skipped over the passage in 1 Corinthians 11:13-16 where it says that we should judge (...) (23 years ago, 11-Feb-02, to lugnet.build.ancient)

  Re: Strider, a hover racer

(...) Mark, I really like this hover racer. From the rear it looks like a futuristic Lamborghini. Having four hover modules underneath is a great touch. They look like the evolution of tires. Great job, Todd Trotter (URL) (23 years ago, 12-Feb-02, to lugnet.build)

  Re: Strider, a hover racer

(...) Very cool! Too bad you missed the HoverThing contest that was held in lugnet.space (note crosspost) recently... Reminds me of something from Blade Runner. I think yellow is very much underused in space models. I'm glad to see it here. --Bill. (23 years ago, 12-Feb-02, to lugnet.build, lugnet.space)

  Repost:BricksWest:Largest Sig-Fig Gathering Ever!

Re: New Moc: Russian Attack Helicopter, Ka-50 'Hokum' (Werewolf)

Very nice! The double rotor must have been a little complicated to design.
