This discussion of the 8880 and 8448 Super Cars has been great. I don't own either yet, and find it difficult to decide between buying the older 8880 at auction or the 8448 new. For those familiar with both, if you had choose between one or the (...) (25 years ago, 7-Aug-99, to lugnet.build)

(...) He spelled it wrong, so you don't need to stand corrected Bryce, you can sit down :) The word is ARMOURER (if you speak Brit English) or ARMORER (if you speak American English). Never an "OR" at the end. Kevin (25 years ago, 7-Aug-99, to lugnet.build)

I ordered a bunch of stuff this morning from Shop at Home, and much to my surprise, the rep said that they had just gotten in their 8448's and were shipping them. I'll be getting mine next Tuesday or Wednesday. Woo-hoo! -Tim (25 years ago, 6-Aug-99, to lugnet.build, lugnet.general)

(...) As we learned in the robotics ng, air _is_ a fluid. :) Anyway, I know what you mean. I don't have any pneumatic stuff now, but I remember testing this as a kid and it worked fine. (25 years ago, 6-Aug-99, to lugnet.build)
