  Re: Incorporating Throwbots Elements?

(...) Frankly, (...) I have been playing around with these trying to make usable joints for mecha. I've found that attaching the shoulder pieces to a technic beam helps, but honestly I haven't gotten much further. One thing that was helpful was (...) (25 years ago, 6-Aug-99, to lugnet.build)

Re: i need ideas for some castle minifigs i am making...

(...) You have to admit though, Tim, there is a sort of tough love/little brother/annoying cousin/kid down the street quality to the verbage. I kind of like it. And you have to admire that tenacity...like a pitbull. I must admit that I am ignorant (...) (25 years ago, 6-Aug-99, to lugnet.build)

  Pneumatic Transmission

I now know that it is possible to make one of these, but does anybody have any ideas on how to make a pneumatically powered transmission have more than two speeds? I have just built one, but I failed horribly. It has two gears, but only one speed (...) (25 years ago, 5-Aug-99, to lugnet.build)

  Re: Space Original Creations Etc.

(...) Yeah, yeah, yeah. (No offense) I knew someone would point this out. I did think about this and considered it, but I decided I had to make some compromises for using lego in the real (non zero G) world. First, if all the windows faced inwards (...) (25 years ago, 5-Aug-99, to lugnet.build)

  Re: New Technic Supercar 8448

(...) It _says_ 'hydraulic' in many places, but it's really a pneumatic cylinder/plunger with a spring. Compressing, the plungers' valve opens all the way; releasing, airflow is restricted and slow the expansion of the spring. -gbr (25 years ago, 4-Aug-99, to lugnet.build)

  Re: New Technic Supercar 8448

D Garcia wrote in message ... (...) Okay, I stand corrected. It is hydraulics. I told you I can read. (25 years ago, 4-Aug-99, to lugnet.build)
