All, Is anyone interested in testing a little program I have been working on that can turn gifs/jpegs into mosaic instructions? It is still in early stages but I would be interested in getting feedback/ideas for it. It is written in java and (...) (23 years ago, 24-Jan-02, to lugnet.build.sculpture)

  Re: New Diorama

Great job! Making me want to try it. Eh, maybe later. Looks hard. I'm curious though, what's the story? Or is there one? (I'm just wondering what your story was...BTW) But really this is absoultely gorgeous. Shame you couldn't save it and expand (...)   Re: new MOC: Pulse

Looking good man. What'd be cool if you can get a movie of these guys fighting like in the game. What I like about the Mecha is that this is a good exercise in how a mecha can look humanoid with out looking human to work. This guy looks bare bones. (...)   Re: New Diorama OT

I think it can be said that Helos have thier uses. Namely against slower ground targets. One of my more favorite stories from the Gulf was an A-10 flying along and came upon a Hind gunship. Long story short; Hind turned into very small chunks by (...) (23 years ago, 24-Jan-02, to lugnet.build.military)

  Re: New Mecha: The Guardian

I particuarily like the right handed weapon. The arms look a little funny. I'd beef up the biceps, time to *pump up!* The hat is cute. Silly even. I love it. Brilliant idea, need work on the execution. What I'd consider doing different is adding a (...) (23 years ago, 24-Jan-02, to lugnet.build.mecha)

  Re: New MOC: The Bison

(...) mmmmm-- nice! Wow, is that ever a piece of great, and thoughtful design (much like the site, IMO)-- Just like Syd Mead- it's got a nice, cramped, utilitarian look, beautiful colours, and a great little story! Amazing! Fabulous! You should be (...) (23 years ago, 23-Jan-02, to lugnet.space, lugnet.build)

  Re: New Mecha: The Guardian

Gosh, I think it's a shame that you tear it down (figuratively) at the same time you announce it-- makes any compliments I have sound insincere. The truth is: I rather like it. A sEric states, there are a lot of interesting pieces in the model, and (...) (23 years ago, 23-Jan-02, to lugnet.build.mecha)

  Re: You asked for it!!!

  Build.military Links

1) Has anybody else noticed that the link to "Goose's Military Lego" is broken? Does anybody know how to reach this Goose fellow to let him know? 2) Shaun Sullivan maintains the links right? Is there any official way to submit a link, or do we just (...) (23 years ago, 23-Jan-02, to lugnet.build.military)

Re: The Deathstalker, ship of a mercenary...

(...) I really like the little details on the floors, like grills and plates and stuff like that. That's a really nice presentation. All in all it's a very cool looking ship. Adrian -- www.brickfrenzy.com (23 years ago, 23-Jan-02, to lugnet.build, lugnet.space)

Ooooh that's cool. The greebly seem is uber-neato. And so is the roof of the little pod thingy. You are very good at this grey/dark grey/brown color scheme. And the pics are durn sweet too. Very good work. (...) (23 years ago, 23-Jan-02, to lugnet.space, lugnet.build)

Re: First pics of the Deathstalker...

I'll answer that one for you. No, at the moment, Keppler Industries has not licenced it's luxury packs to any other group. But for a small licensing fee, we can have a Keppler Edition anything you want. :-P PS, like I told you, nice werk Rick. (...) (23 years ago, 23-Jan-02, to lugnet.space, lugnet.build)

The Deathstalker, ship of a mercenary...

Official release and pictures. :) Disregard other post, since pics are gone. :) (URL) PLMKWYT. This took me almost 2 dull days to finish. :) Rick (23 years ago, 23-Jan-02, to lugnet.space, lugnet.announce.moc, lugnet.general, lugnet.build)

Re: First pics of the Deathstalker...

Rick, that is seriously cool looking fighter! I really like it. You did a great job! Hey, can I get one with the Special Keppler options package? You know soft-touch landing gear, anti-fleebnork wipers...etc....? Legomaster (...) (23 years ago, 23-Jan-02, to lugnet.space, lugnet.build)

  Re: New MOC: The Bison

(...) I kind of like it better thinking of it as a giant microfig freighter or something. It has intrigued me at any rate. Lots of cool details. I really like the unorthodox use of the technic piston housing. -Mike Petrucelli (23 years ago, 23-Jan-02, to lugnet.space, lugnet.build)
