  Re: New Mecha: The Guardian

(...) The arms look way too skinny and small in comparison to the legs, however. I don't like the little hat on its head. I like the way the shoulders look, however. ~Grand Admiral Muffin Head -- Mark's Lego Creations (URL) (23 years ago, 23-Jan-02, to lugnet.build.mecha)

  Re: New MOC: The Bison

(...) Beautifully ugly, Jon! I love how you work with brown and gray. Lots of functionality to this MOC. I think the Lobot head has a perfect placid look on his face for being a monk. :^) Spedoinkel! ~Grand Admiral Muffin Head -- Mark's Lego (...)   Re: New MOC: The Bison

(...) 1. Nice smooth top - very slick. 2. Very shweet band of greebles near the engine! VERY Space 1999 IMO! Everything just works so well. The thing that I like is how the use of the band and smooth top actually takes your attention away from the (...) (23 years ago, 23-Jan-02, to lugnet.space, lugnet.build)

I like that you're using the new AT canopy instead of the classic 10x4 canopy that I've seen on many of your MOCs. Not that I don't (...) (23 years ago, 23-Jan-02, to lugnet.space, lugnet.build)

  New Mecha: The Guardian

Well, it's been a while since I built a humanoid Mecha, so I might have it all wrong, but anyway... The pictures don't show what I hoped they would, but it's good enough I guess. PLMKWYT.. (URL) <<Joel>> (23 years ago, 23-Jan-02, to lugnet.build.mecha)

(...) I will have to thank Peter when i get a chance for that. I thought that design for a turret would be peachy on my ship. :) Rick (23 years ago, 22-Jan-02, to lugnet.space, lugnet.build)

  You asked for it!!!

We will have an Ice Planet 2002 contest in June. This will allow people a chance to plan and clear out their building schedules.   Re: Blacktron I Contest Results

(...) Well, sort of. One of the standard 4H competition categories is "collections" with "LEGO(r)" as a subcategory. Since everyone else brought in sets, Nik ate their lunch with his MOCs... Where he gets his competitiveness I could not say. :-) (23 years ago, 22-Jan-02, to lugnet.build.contests)

  Re: Blacktron I Contest Results

(...) Well ya! I'll do an entry if I have time. I thought about a BT 1 entry... I have a MIB MIB, you know (and a non MIB one too) and some other BT1 sets, and I am only 2 or 3 sets shy of IP 2002 complete. I marveled at the entries (but of course (...)   Re: new MOC: Pulse

(...) True. I believe that all the character in the Tech Romancer game are derivative of other 'genres' of mecha (one Eva-style, one Gundam, for instance), so ours is sort of re-re-interpreted ;^) The two fighting scenes really shine as something (...)
