(...) Thanks Borislav. Believe it or not, the scenes were built using free tools. MLCad and L3P+LGEO provided the core Lego parts, and the scenery effects -- rocket flare, landscape, sky, etc. -- were all added in using POVRay code (MegaPOV in some (...) (23 years ago, 19-Jan-02, to lugnet.build.mecha, lugnet.space, lugnet.publish)

(...) Thanks, I modeled that landscape using nothing but MegaPOV. The shape of the ground is a heightfield based on the pattern image type, and the texturing is accomplished using slope-dependent textures. The source for the scene can be found at (...) (...) It may be Tyco. I know they have a slope which is 1x2, just sloped. Another possibility is Coko. Does it appear to be the same ABS as LEGO or is it more like the plastic in model cars? Frank (23 years ago, 19-Jan-02, to lugnet.build)
