  Re: Mecha Joint Tech

(...) Good point. They are too weak not be doubled up in large mecha and that technique limits the flexability- especially in the arms. (...) Plus , they're rather costly to acquire. Furthermore,(and I hope Brian Cooper takes no offense to this (...) (23 years ago, 15-Jan-02, to lugnet.build.mecha, lugnet.lego.direct)

Re: removing a really stuck neck from a head?

Its the ice planet head with the white eyebrows and moustache. What I will probobly do is to see if he will sell me the head really cheap because its damaged and then try to fix it (much like how I got the black falcon flag cheap for the same (...)   Re: New! NOM Unit-01: Black Metal

(...) I am happy you like it! As for the arms, this is a Mobile Armor vs. a Mobile Suit so I decided to leave the arms as they are. If I add more weapons to the Black Metal in the future however, I will most likely take your advice and beef up the (...) (23 years ago, 15-Jan-02, to lugnet.build.mecha)

Re: New! NOM Unit-01: Black Metal

(...) I love rounded shapes very much, especially when they have a lot of sharp edges! For some reason, rounded edges and machines of war have never made a good combination in my mind. (...) Thanks, but remember, the Black Metal was made for a stop motion animation, and only when properly animated can its true power be brought to light. If your hoards want to invade, its fine by me, but I keep the pieces once my mecha tear them to (...) (23 years ago, 15-Jan-02, to lugnet.build.mecha)

Re: New turbocycle, with a twist!

(...) Sorry mate :) When are you going to post yours, so that the community can compare and contrast? I'm interested to see what direction you took. Adrian -- www.brickfrenzy.com (23 years ago, 15-Jan-02, to lugnet.space, lugnet.build, lugnet.build.mecha)

Re: removing a really stuck neck from a head?

(...) Small towns in Germany have these as well. Pretty neat. (23 years ago, 15-Jan-02, to lugnet.build.minifigs)

Re: New turbocycle, with a twist!

(...) Bah! You beat me to the punch. I had one made Saturday night, but didn't have time to take pics. I must say tho, you did much better than me. ;-) Very cool stuff. Your bot went a totally different direction than mine did. -Chris (23 years ago, 15-Jan-02, to lugnet.space, lugnet.build, lugnet.build.mecha)

Re: removing a really stuck neck from a head?

(...) Just curious which head this is and why you want to go to any trouble to make it useable (I can think of about one head for which some amount of trouble might be worth it). Frank (23 years ago, 15-Jan-02, to lugnet.build.minifigs)
