  Re: New MOC: Banshee Bike

(...) Thanks! The wheels are from the intakes of the UCS X-Wing. The same piece (in yellow) is used as a propellor cowling on the Technic Search Sub. --Bram Bram Lambrecht bram@cwru.edu www.bldesign.org (23 years ago, 11-Jan-02, to lugnet.build, lugnet.space)

Re: yep, that's right, more turbocycles!

(...) Thanks. I do really like the way that one turned out. (...) I was thinking about other colors. There's green, tan, brown, orange, and just grey, and that'll pretty much cover every color that I have significant amounts of. Adrian -- (...) thanx alot for all the positive things said by both you, Sun, and some others. i do think my guns are rather nice (IMHO :)) if you liked the orc, you'll like the one i'm building now. i'm done w/ everything but the torso. it's gonna be nice, i hope. Definitely a work of art! This belongs in the same galery as that Artist's Studio Retreat of yours. At first glance, I thought those wheels came from Photoshop ;) You really show the level that Lego can be raised to. ~ Tom - - - - - - - - - - - - - (...)   Re: yep, that's right, more turbocycles!

Nice work with that Aggravator canopy. I was trying to get the same thing to work on my Tron Lightcycle, but I just couldn't get it. I made it look cool, but it didn't look anything like Tron... Just like you, I had to model the whole thing after (...) (23 years ago, 11-Jan-02, to lugnet.space, lugnet.build)

Re: Flash - Future Bike/Turbo Cycle

Looks cool, but I still gotta say that the Reef Speeder is my favorite though :) Just too much great stuff on that page! Oh, and that drumline was a great idea too. You need a few keyboard players now. ;) ~ Tom Steve Runnels <netfreak16@hotmail.com> (...) (23 years ago, 11-Jan-02, to lugnet.space, lugnet.build)

  Re: My top 10

(...) We aren't upset at you for this, Jacob. We respect that you have such a list....I have one as well. I choose to post mine on my website rather than leave it out in the open (as you have done) for everyone to scrutinize. (...) I can't disagree (...)   Re: My top 10

(...) Hi Jacob - Don't feel bad that you made that post. Its not your problem if people got offended by your opinion. I hope you keep posting your opinions and praise of others' work on LUGNET and don't get discouraged because of this incident. I (...) (23 years ago, 11-Jan-02, to lugnet.build.mecha)

  Re: New MOC: Banshee Bike

(...) Nice bike. I second that question - those round pieces would be very useful for some projects I'm working on. Later, Gary (23 years ago, 10-Jan-02, to lugnet.build, lugnet.space)

(...) are mounted. The Eradicator is very cool too. I like the engines and the way the gun is mounted below the cockpit. I also like the Falcon 2. Those wings are neat. Curt Tigges Commander-in-Chief of Starforce (URL) (23 years ago, 10-Jan-02, to lugnet.space, lugnet.build)

  Re: ULF Database Update

(...) Thanks! As you can see, the wings are based on the Concorde. The ship is meant for transportation times of 36 hours or less (that explains the bed in the rear section for the stewardesses). Is everyone getting affected by TRON or something with all these lightcycles? :) Wheels are sweet on this model. Nice job. (23 years ago, 10-Jan-02, to lugnet.build, lugnet.space)

  Re: ULF Database Update

(...) Thanks, Matt. I actually hadn't planned to add the engines on the side at first. I had originally planned to add more wings-but I think that it looks better this way. Sooner or later I'll have two more dropships-one smaller and one larger, but (...) (23 years ago, 10-Jan-02, to lugnet.space, lugnet.build, lugnet.general)

  New MOC: Banshee Bike

I was inspired by all the other turbocycles being posted, so I went ahead and built one. It's yellow-fast, about 18 studs long, 5 studs wide, and 6 bricks high.
