Re: new member Check this guy out!

(...) Here is Mark's definition Mladen was talking about: Let me just start off with this. Mechs to me, means Battlemechs. Not Mecha. Mecha are elegant Japanese things. Beautiful to behold powerful, invoke awe and have a samurai like appeal to them. (...) (23 years ago, 18-Oct-01, to lugnet.build.mecha)

  Re: Talon Starfighter

Hi there Joel, I think the Talon has some real potential. At current, it seems a bit flimsy, but I'm sure that with a little more refinement, it could look quite striking indeed. I will compliment you on a very original and interesting design, (...) (23 years ago, 18-Oct-01, to lugnet.space, lugnet.build)

  Re: New MOC's: Building & NYPD/FDNY vehicles

(...) It's always suprising when such a construciton of simple and common pieces fools the eye. Keep building! -chris (23 years ago, 18-Oct-01, to lugnet.town, lugnet.build)

  New MOC: Swinger Version 3

Yes, I know, I already posted about this. It's just that one of Mladen's superb mecha showed up shortly after I posted, and well my post was lost in a sea of replies... ~Sigh~ Anyway i just want to get some suggestions, ideas, anything.. so I know (...)   Re: The "Centrite Carona" Hardsuit.

(...) Hmm... thanks... I think I may be able to win a crowd over if I keep up the large close combat weapons.... and yes, I nearly gave my friend a bruise with Swinger 3, actually it was just Swinger 2 at that time, but now, well geez, it's sort of (...)   NEW DRAGON MODEL

Hiya all.... Just thought I'd share with you my latest creation..... A half metre long DRAGON model I built....!!! It stands almost half a metre to the top of its head. Its mouth opens and closes.... and its feet and toes move. I hope you like (...) (23 years ago, 17-Oct-01, to lugnet.build)

  Re: The "Centrite Carona" Hardsuit.

In lugnet.build.mecha, Peter McLoone writes: [Snip] (...) [Snip] I saw that right before Mladen posted his. I like the design, especially the large bashing arm. When I saw the arm, I thought, "Wow! Just think if that hit some battlearmor!" and that (...) (23 years ago, 17-Oct-01, to lugnet.build.mecha)

  Re: The "Centrite Carona" Hardsuit.

(...) Hmm.. very nice for that size... overall very unique.... hmm... I especially am interested in the legs... what pieces did you use?   The "Centrite Carona" Hardsuit.

Hello, one and all. I finaly finished my first hardsuit. (At least I think that's what they're called. I call them mobile armor units.) Because it's my first, it's not that great. Nothing like the Kicker by Mladen, unfortunately. Centrite (...) (23 years ago, 17-Oct-01, to lugnet.build.mecha)

  Re: New MOC's: Building & NYPD/FDNY vehicles

(...) The green trim, to me, seems to make the tan look like a lighter shade of green. Altogether, the building looks very nice. I like your design for trim along the top. -Jason (URL) (...) (23 years ago, 17-Oct-01, to lugnet.town, lugnet.build)

Re: New MOC: One-man Scout Ornithopter from "Dune"

(URL) they don't look THAT good ingame, but I've always been a fan of Dragonflys, so this was the design that always stuck with me. I'm thinking I may try my hand at building one, as a sort of fourth interpretation of a 'thopter (at this rate, we're (...) (23 years ago, 17-Oct-01, to lugnet.space, lugnet.build)

Re: New MOC: One-man Scout Ornithopter from "Dune"

(...) Thanks - I'm glad you like it. I've never seen the 'thopter from the game - any chance you could post, or point me to, some pics? - Paul (23 years ago, 17-Oct-01, to lugnet.space, lugnet.build)

Re: New MOC: One-man Scout Ornithopter from "Dune"

(...) Thanks. I did toy with the idea of building a spice crawler, but it would have to be HUGE. (...) Hmmm - interesting ideas. But the Baron isn't really a giant, just big around. (...) Blue-eyed minifigs? Now your just being nitpicky :-) (...) (...) (23 years ago, 17-Oct-01, to lugnet.space, lugnet.build)

Re: New MOC: One-man Scout Ornithopter from "Dune"

(...) Glad you like it. That minifig head is a Hydronaut head. I got mine from Solo Sub 6110, which was a pretty inexpensive set & still available until recently. (the minifig is the only good thig about it, however...) - Paul (23 years ago, 17-Oct-01, to lugnet.space, lugnet.build)

Re: New MOC: One-man Scout Ornithopter from "Dune"

(...) Perhaps definitely. (...) That's a fun idea - I think it does. I had a lot of fun making these figs - Dune is just full of great characters. Glad you like 'em. - Paul (23 years ago, 17-Oct-01, to lugnet.space, lugnet.build)

  Re: Green minifig hands?

(...) That would be cool. I didn't notice that (or didn't get that catalog) as for green hands none of the alpha team people have green hands (lt grey but no green) bobba fett has dark grey and the flash speeder pilot has brown and the green haired (...)   Re: PVA glue & lego
