In light of yesterday's events, I felt I needed to do something in commemoration. since Legos are the medium I am most skilled with, I decided to use them. (URL) wreckage is that of an earlier model, the U.C.T. Quasimodo. somehow I didn't think it (...) (23 years ago, 12-Sep-01, to lugnet.build.mecha)

Wow! Thank you Stuart. I was trying to make a super organic feeling (mecha). The whole project kind of spiralled out of control a bit. The same thing happened with the Q model. Bryce, This is exactly how I feel about this model-- the organic quality is astonishing, given the "limitations" (obviously being overcome almost daily in this group) of the medium. I feel as though I could get lost in the layers of detail, and yet (...) (23 years ago, 12-Sep-01, to lugnet.build.mecha)

(...) No, yours is *great* the way it is! However, my approach to the problem of a lifting body is quite different. You may find it interesting, even if you don't use the ideas to improve your model. How's the mechanical strength of your Stealth (...) (23 years ago, 11-Sep-01, to lugnet.build.military)

Thank you Brian. I know, the feet look awkward, however, the mecha is supposed to roll on them. At least the ammunition drum and belt are a success. BTW I tried not to use any trans elements on everything but the head. The trans parts represent a (...) (23 years ago, 12-Sep-01, to lugnet.build.mecha)
