Click below to go to the first nine digital pics of my eventually to be over six foot long (when completed with bowsprit) Lego model of a 100 foot (deck length) 300 plus ton generic New Bedford whaler. I started out to build the Nantucket based (...) (23 years ago, 30-Aug-01, to lugnet.build)

  Re: black roof bricks ?

(...) They do exist but arn't real easy to find. Doing a quick search on Peeron I think your best bests in current sets are for 3048 (URL) in (URL) Bulls Attack. 3049 (URL) in (URL) Guarded Inn.   black roof bricks ?

Hi! I just opened 5 sets of 5216 black roof bricks and realised that there are no corners for the top! I mean these 1x2 bricks for the final top of the roof, and the 1x2 / 2x2 for "extenstions": (URL) these availible in black? I could use at least (...)   Confederation of Planets releases ISSCV

For years you have heard about the Endo/Exo-Atmospheric InterSteller Space Cargo Vehicle, nicknamed the ISSCV for short. Also for years, the Confederation has kept the technical data for the ISSCV a secret too... until now. The Confederation of (...)   Re: New MOC: Orca Bomber from Command & Conquer Game

(...) Same here, I change around lots o things when building replicas, I usually try and go for instant recognition rather than building a model with all of the detail, except you think it's a spitfire rather than a p-51 if you get my meaning.   Re: NEW MOC: Navy Destroyer Prototype

I appreciate the feedback. You're are right -- it's definetly not "naval spec" accurate. This is in part due to the fact I was never in the navy and secondly because I failed to perform a lot of research prior to building, except look at few photo's (...)   New Cathedral in XXL-size

Re: New MOC: Orca Bomber from Command & Conquer Game

Geordan, I appreciate the comments. I'm not a purist when building replicas of anything, I often skew into modifying a known model a tad here and there into something slightly different. Also partly, in this case, because I used only tan and brown (...) (23 years ago, 30-Aug-01, to lugnet.build)
