(...) They do exist but arn't real easy to find. Doing a quick search on Peeron I think your best bests in current sets are for 3048 (URL) in (URL) Bulls Attack. 3049 (URL) in (URL) Guarded Inn. Hi! I just opened 5 sets of 5216 black roof bricks and realised that there are no corners for the top! I mean these 1x2 bricks for the final top of the roof, and the 1x2 / 2x2 for "extenstions": (URL) these availible in black? I could use at least (...) I appreciate the feedback. You're are right -- it's definetly not "naval spec" accurate. This is in part due to the fact I was never in the navy and secondly because I failed to perform a lot of research prior to building, except look at few photo's (...) Geordan, I appreciate the comments. I'm not a purist when building replicas of anything, I often skew into modifying a known model a tad here and there into something slightly different. Also partly, in this case, because I used only tan and brown (...) (23 years ago, 30-Aug-01, to lugnet.build)

I love these tires, even though they are almost as hard as plastic, they look great on WWII (any plane really) planes as landing gear. Yes the Mech-bot is still under construction, it has diven me to the brink of insanity so I have taken a break and started to create some less serious side projects. But let it be known, I will re-engage construction of the Mech-bot! (...) (23 years ago, 30-Aug-01, to lugnet.build.mecha)
