  small rocket mounting

Has anyone come up with a good solution for mounting 1x1 round rockets/missles horizontally to the underside of wings or onto the back of armoured vehicles. I am trying to work up some nice, detachable missle racks for BrickWars. I would love to see (...) (23 years ago, 24-Aug-01, to lugnet.space, lugnet.build, lugnet.build.mecha)

  Re: Ball & socket joints.

(...) Unfortunatlly there are only 4 ball & socket joints in the Storm trooper. neck, left and right shoulder and left elbow. I chose wrong the first time I picked. I'll have to check out Pohatu. Doh, I bought a C-3P0 and a Kopaka last night (needed (...) (23 years ago, 24-Aug-01, to lugnet.technic, lugnet.build.mecha)

Re: Getting my own fingers into this mech thing.

Great mecha Lindsay, very great mecha. Good form, I espeically like the head, and the articulation in the neck is great, it makes it look like it has some personality. The legs are awesome, very unique design, the feet are nice too. Nice thruster's (...) (23 years ago, 24-Aug-01, to lugnet.build.mecha)

The weapon modules rule! awesome awesome awwesome, did I mention...awesome! The rail gun is the best, it looks sweet, can anyone in the know please explain what rail guns shoot and how they fire? I used two huge ones in my sixlegged mech, but only (...) (23 years ago, 24-Aug-01, to lugnet.build.mecha, lugnet.space)

(...) Since everyone has been in lock-step condemnation of the "new" Enterprise, and since I'm not Anime-savvy, can someone point me to a good picture of the "original" ship? Dave! (23 years ago, 24-Aug-01, to lugnet.build, lugnet.space)

Re: Getting my own fingers into this mech thing.

(...) I like it very much! It has a more organic feel than most mecha models. The construction doesn't seem as polished as others I've seen, but it's still far superior to anything I could do. I especially like the cockpit -- now that I've seen it, (...) (23 years ago, 24-Aug-01, to lugnet.build.mecha)

  Re: MOC: Akira-prise, NX-01

(...) Very nice rendition of the Akira-prise. I have been wanting to do some ships from Star Trek in that scale. Do you know hard it is to make a Defiant? :D Rick (23 years ago, 24-Aug-01, to lugnet.build, lugnet.space, lugnet.loc.us.ny.ny)

Re: MOC: First World War German Dreadnought: SMS Friedrich der Grosse

Inn/hotel/railway station - How do you build this?

Hi all! I am working on a Inn, or maybe more a old style hotel or whatever. The building might also fit for a railway station with some modifications. p It is a half-timbered house, two floors, 30x 12/14 studs etc. Now: How do you du this trick with (...)   Re: Wedding Chapel

(...) I kinda figured that. Probably a seperate sub-assembly right? I haven't messed with MLCAD too much. Unfortunatly I find it a tad clumsy. I spend all day on a CAD system.   Re: MOC: Enterprise, NX-01

(...) Thanks Lindsay! It's always hard to make a round primary hull--but a secondary hull is even tougher. Not to mention the warp nacelles. That's why I haven't built an NCC-1701. The NX-01 wasn't easier, but it *was* less difficult. BTW, are you a (...) (23 years ago, 24-Aug-01, to lugnet.build, lugnet.space, lugnet.loc.us.ny.ny)

  Re: MOC: Enterprise, NX-01

Re: Getting my own fingers into this mech thing.

Hey there, LFB! I like it! I like it! Your 'Toad' walker looks like an AT-ST on steroids...it has a nice bulky look to it without actually being bulky. I truly like the flow of the model especially towards the feet. That's certainly one of the best (...) (23 years ago, 24-Aug-01, to lugnet.build.mecha)

Getting my own fingers into this mech thing.

Hi, everyone! Seeing the general buzz that's always in .build.mecha and my desire to continue procrastinating on this grant proposal, I've been inspired to risk rendering a 20-year- old design into LEGO. It's from a universe I've been working on (...) (23 years ago, 24-Aug-01, to lugnet.build.mecha, lugnet.space, lugnet.build) !
