  Re: Wedding Chapel

(...) I kinda figured that. Probably a seperate sub-assembly right? I haven't messed with MLCAD too much. Unfortunatly I find it a tad clumsy. I spend all day on a CAD system. And I find the lack of a snap feature challanging. Plus, I would rather (...) (23 years ago, 24-Aug-01, to lugnet.build.arch)

  Re: MOC: Enterprise, NX-01

(...) Thanks Lindsay! It's always hard to make a round primary hull--but a secondary hull is even tougher. Not to mention the warp nacelles. That's why I haven't built an NCC-1701. The NX-01 wasn't easier, but it *was* less difficult. BTW, are you a (...) (23 years ago, 24-Aug-01, to lugnet.build, lugnet.space, lugnet.loc.us.ny.ny)

  Re: MOC: Enterprise, NX-01

(...) I like it! It's remarkably close with respect to the geometries, which is the hardest part. Nice incorporation of parts for the bridge, too. The Akiraprise isn't exactly a gorgeous ship, but that model's pretty darn good-lookin'. (Sorry, not (...) (23 years ago, 24-Aug-01, to lugnet.build, lugnet.space, lugnet.loc.us.ny.ny)

Re: Getting my own fingers into this mech thing.

Hey there, LFB! I like it! I like it! Your 'Toad' walker looks like an AT-ST on steroids...it has a nice bulky look to it without actually being bulky. I truly like the flow of the model especially towards the feet. That's certainly one of the best (...) (23 years ago, 24-Aug-01, to lugnet.build.mecha)

Getting my own fingers into this mech thing.

Hi, everyone! Seeing the general buzz that's always in .build.mecha and my desire to continue procrastinating on this grant proposal, I've been inspired to risk rendering a 20-year- old design into LEGO. It's from a universe I've been working on (...) (23 years ago, 24-Aug-01, to lugnet.build.mecha, lugnet.space, lugnet.build) !

  Building Tip

While I was talking to a fellow LEGO maniac on BrickLUG, I gave him some tips on how to build good MOCs with a small collections. Gather up all the pieces of a certain colour, ex. tan or green. Pick another colour and round up all the pieces again. (...) (23 years ago, 24-Aug-01, to lugnet.build)

  Re: LEGO in Washington Post

Thanks for the excitment Geordan. I'd like to correct or rather explain something Dave said...(it's below) (...) Here's the deal. Living close by entitles Dave to see the Cankerworm early only so I can beg hime for more parts. I usually say (...) (23 years ago, 24-Aug-01, to lugnet.technic.bionicle, lugnet.build.mecha)

Re: Hey everybody: A few things...

Colin, What's up? It's good to know you're still here. I too have enjoyed seeing this group grow over the 2 years I've been here. You will always be one of the Original Mecha Builders. (that's OMB kids. Our new mecha catch phrase). Thanks for (...) (23 years ago, 24-Aug-01, to lugnet.build.mecha)
