I like it! It has a very earthy feel to it. It gives me a sort-of Frank Lloyd Wright feeling. The interior it really cool as well. Its good to hear that there is someone else that builds the building first and names it later. I almost never know (...) (23 years ago, 1-Aug-01, to lugnet.build.arch)

Re: New building for my downtown.

Interesting design. I kind of liked the first version as well. I've tried to do balconies on buildings, but I've never gotten it to turn out right.   Re: New building for my downtown.

Thanks, although like I said that one with the terraces has been tore apart. I may try to do something with that concept later. Yellow. The short reason is I happen to have more yellow free than any other color. Long reason - I had at one point (...) (23 years ago, 31-Jul-01, to lugnet.build.arch)

Jason- I really like the terracing. It looks great, I might try that on the next thing I build.... One question though... what possessed you to use yellow?!? No one in there right mind would use yellow... ;) Sarah (...) (23 years ago, 31-Jul-01, to lugnet.build.arch, lugnet.org.us.michlug)

  Re: Bumble Bee Building

The off-colors grew on me after a while. I am mostly happy with the design, I think I will give it another go after this weekend, Joel wants me to keep it together for the Lego get together thingie.   New building for my downtown.

Well I made yet another downtown style building. (By this I mean, bigger than a house, yet small enough that it isn't a skyscraper). This one is yellow with blue accents. I tried one concept out first, but I didn't like it that much so after tearing (...) (23 years ago, 31-Jul-01, to lugnet.build.arch, lugnet.org.us.michlug)

(...) Hey Sarah, I like it! Really nice design and nice interior too! I was expecting something less majestic when you called it a bumble bee building. I like the corner roof peaks. Keep up the good work. Tom (23 years ago, 31-Jul-01, to lugnet.build.arch)
