  Re: New Mech: Jumpkick

Well, I and many other people on LUGNET, do care somewhat for colour schemes. Maybe in your next mecha you should try to stick to a specific colour scheme. As far as the actual mecha goes, it nice. I don't really want to say anything bad, but it (...) (23 years ago, 23-Jun-01, to lugnet.build.mecha)

Re: My new LEGO site is up

(...) Hey Rev., I've enjoyed the pictures of your work on Brickshelf for some time now. The new web site looks great - chocked full of all kinds of great eye candy and filled with all kinds of detailed ideas to inspire others (for instance I might (...) Check out the Black Robot a little closer and see the Blacktron pcs. and Mini figs! it took 2years to create this, and it was my first serious attempt at a purpose built design. Enjoy. (...) (23 years ago, 23-Jun-01, to lugnet.build.mecha, lugnet.space)

  New Mech: Jumpkick

Although I've had it for awhile, I recently just got the pics up and the entire name of Jumpkick is Mech #9 Jumpkick, because well y'see, it's my ninth mech, and I number them for the sake over everyone knowing which one came first, but onward. Once (...) (23 years ago, 23-Jun-01, to lugnet.build.mecha)

  Re: site update

(...) Hi James! First thing I looked at was your MOC. Now, I don't think BURPs are that bad when used well, and I must say you used them well. The front of your bulding would fit seamlessly inside a mountain. I would love to see you build a big (...) (23 years ago, 23-Jun-01, to lugnet.castle, lugnet.general, lugnet.build)

Re: Crashing your Lego creation safely...

Well, gee, I personally wouldn't risk such a thing. Once I build something, I rarely break apart my creation voluntarily, and creations that are lost I often regret about, from such memories as the first line of mechs I made, to the giant lumbering (...)   Re: Crashing your Lego creation safely...

LEGO is pretty tough, i would guess the only bits that might break are antennas and really thin pieces. The standard brick is pretty tough. Of course bits of wreckage might spread over a 300 sq. studs area, but ResQ will be called in to mop up the (...) (23 years ago, 23-Jun-01, to lugnet.build, lugnet.general)

Re: MOCs: incl German WWII Railway gun

Shaun, I've seen your work on brickshelf before and I am just floored by the detail. You are, by far, one of the best lego modelers out there. 8 Your attention to detail is clearly seen in the beautiful re-creations of WWII and Star Wars machines. I (...)   Re: Crashing your Lego creation safely...

Well it's been 1 year since I wrote the message below. I have yet to crash this helicopter out of pure laziness. The SEALs have completed several missions and the pilots of the UH-60 (lego) Blackhawk are now feeling safe that their craft is safe and (...) Looks just as great as the first time I saw it! The close-ups are really nice, and further show the complex mechanical structure of the robot. Very impressive! (...) (23 years ago, 22-Jun-01, to lugnet.build.mecha)

Thank you to everyone who commented. Brad, this has now been destroyed to create my next building. My next building will be engineered to make the trip to your house. By the way, I have never heard of Swiss Chalet restaurants so I think they might (...) (23 years ago, 21-Jun-01, to lugnet.build)
