  Re: Large Buildings?

(...) Why so many 1x2's? I use tons of 1x4's to build walls. I pay about a penny a stud plus a penny for most 1x bricks from the set busters. Amy (24 years ago, 16-Mar-01, to lugnet.build)

  Fearing Lego

This may sound a little bit weird, but has anyone ever built anything that they were actually afraid of? I think I have done just that: (URL) Spinning Wheel of Death.   Re: My first Sculptures, Super Giant Hello Kitty

(...) Thank you for your kind comment. (...) I bought 11 blue tubs but the Sculptures didn't require 13200 bricks. Most of the white bricks were used ,but green and red are still in the tubs:)... About 7000 bricks were used to build this lovely (...) (24 years ago, 16-Mar-01, to lugnet.build)

  Re: Large Buildings?

(...) I don't know of any existing sites, but it shouldn't be that hard to build a frame out of bricks and plates, with 32x32 gaps in the roof, and then put baseplates in those 32x32 gaps. Even though baseplates don't have the "bottom" side that (...) (24 years ago, 15-Mar-01, to lugnet.build)

  Re: Church update

(...) Thanks. I wish I had photographed it before installation. Because it's an odd size and two colors, it's made of small pieces. This, and that it narrows down to one stud where it's anchored to the wall, made it a real challenge to build sturdy. (...) (24 years ago, 15-Mar-01, to lugnet.build.arch, lugnet.town)
