I am currently working on a large vehicle project, but I don't want my

pictures of large buildings constructed out of LEGO bricks? I am thinking
along the lines of large warehouse structures roughly 3 x 2 baseplates in
area and 30 bricks high. I have a rather small collection (< 50K pieces), so
straight brick construction is out of the question.

I don't know of any existing sites, but it shouldn't be that hard to
build a frame out of bricks and plates, with 32x32 gaps in the roof,
and then put baseplates in those 32x32 gaps.  Even though baseplates
don't have the "bottom" side that studs can grip, you can "sandwich"
them by just pretending that they are regular plates.  They stay
pretty firmly.  Then just build some braces, perhaps using Technic
beams, to keep it all from sagging.
