Great crane. Have any of you seen a kroll crane in action? (URL) for some great crane pictures. (Click on applications then power plants) That is an awsome crane, I stood under this crane while it was being erected, They actually set 3 smaller (...) I went through the seven movies I shot a picked the one with the least stills and best lighting; a 4565 with cars traveling on the inner downhill ramp then partly uphill. (...) Have you noticed the shaft with the worm gear turning unevenly (jumping)? If so it can be reduced by rotation one of the u-joints 90 deg relative to the other (so the slots line up, rather than 90 deg offset). This probably wouldn't affect the (...) (24 years ago, 9-Feb-01, to lugnet.build, lugnet.technic)
