huge bay window kinda thing.  How did you mount them sideways?

I neglected to mention some other tricky connections towards the top of the
building.

The two small domes are fastened with an aquazone "elbow" hex column hooked
to a standard 4 stud technic axle.  The axle penetrates a 1x4 technic plate
with round ends and 3 holes.  The top hole is "crunched" so it holds the
axle tight.  Then, the axel runs through a standard technic 1x4 beam built
into the tower, and is further held in place by a technic 1/2 stud cap (I
don't know what this part is called, but its a common gray part about
1x1x1/2 that you put on the end of axles).

The top bay window and dome assembly is held on by an aquazone 2x4x2 brick
with a 2x4 bank of studs on the side (found in 6195).
