I posted some help on POV-RAY camera angles a bit back in one of the CAD
newsgroups.
Here is the easiest way to do it (assuming you are using MLCAD). Load up
MLCAD with your model. Have one view showing the front, and another from
the top.
Go over the front view and place the cursor where you want your camera to
be. The coordinates are displayed on the lower-left corner. Write these
down. Now, move the cursor over the same spot on the top-down view. this
gives your Z coordinate.
Now, repeat the process for where you want to look at (usually in the dead
center of the model).
Now, go to the end of your POV-RAY file and find a location vaxis_rotate()
command. Replace the first 3 numbers in this statement with the location of
your camera.
Next, replace the coordinates for the look_at command (a few lines below).
This is a really quick and easy way of getting different views.
