Imagine a amusement park, featuring the fictituous Harry Potter ride 'Magic
Flight'. The public entrance is at the top level between two decorative
castle towers. From there, the public descends by groups of four to seat
themselves in a ride cart.

During the ride, the people are guided through the story line of Harry
Potter's The philosopher's Stone (Book I), depicted by puppets in animated
scenes.

After the first scene there's excitement as the people see the floor vanish
under their feets. Surprisingly, the chairs run suspended from a monorail,
simulating a truely magical flight.

This voluminous MOC display was exhibited at LEGO WORLD 2001 in the
Netherlands. Check out the info on the structure and the show, but most of
all: enjoy the ride.

(...) That's just too cool, Eric! I was impressed with how well it was done. Incorporating the larger Scala figs with regular figs was a surprise. I don't think I've seen it so well done before. What a great concept and a superb creation. Congrats (...) (23 years ago, 13-Feb-02, to lugnet.harrypotter)

All I get when I click the link is a blank page, just like the link for the Otherdam Junction. I know that the link must've used to work, because there are replies from others who've seen it. Oh well, hopefully the server is only taking a very short (...) (23 years ago, 13-Feb-02, to lugnet.harrypotter)

Hi Eric, I saw you model on display at LEGO WORLD 2001 in Zwolle and was very impressed. When I first saw it, a lot of questions came to my mind (e.g. how you were able to transport this huge "beast" and where you got all the pieces for it). But now (...) (...) Absolutely amazing Eric. I've always been very impressed with your models, and your latest train station and this are simply superb. Great work! I would have never thought to build something so original with such an interesting combination of (...) (23 years ago, 14-Feb-02, to lugnet.harrypotter)

There were some Netscape-compatibility issues with my new site. I found a typo and now at least the site does show up in Netscape 4, although some stylesheet-issues remain for the time being. It seems reloading the page may also help to display it (...) (23 years ago, 15-Feb-02, to lugnet.harrypotter)

Sigh. Your site must be tuned to IE, my NS 4.78 gets only a blank page. But wait! Magically, by accidentally clicking in the page I get your pages! Wow, even your site has magic! DLC (...) (23 years ago, 19-Feb-02, to lugnet.harrypotter)
