  New Space MOC's
 
Three models this time: Crusader, Harpy, Zelph. The inspiration for the Crusader should be obvious for anime fans. The Harpy and the Zelph are older models (1.5 and 3 years old respectively) that were given an update. LMKWYT Travis Dickinson (URL) (22 years ago, 5-Jul-02, to lugnet.announce.moc, lugnet.space)

Ahh yes....Macross is but a distant, but fond memory. Nice render! I must admit that I am partial to the Zelph and the forward engine placement. Looks as if it was built up from pod racing principles and giving a dose of muscle. The sliding canopy (...) (22 years ago, 5-Jul-02, to lugnet.space)

Woah, three new models! ;-D I must say, all three fighters are delightful to behold. The "Crusader" is almost large enough to be classified as a SHIP. The "Zelph" has a very original design. But I must say, the "Harpy" is my favourite of the bunch. (...) (22 years ago, 5-Jul-02, to lugnet.space)

Thanks. The Zelph is one of my favorites. The idea for the design came for a description of a tri-hulled cruiser in "The Helmsman" series by Bill Baldwin. The canopy was intended for the Crusader, but it didn't work. I figured the idea was too good (...) (22 years ago, 5-Jul-02, to lugnet.space)
