I finally completed my first micro-scale model. I chose to render one of my
favorite minifig-scale Lego sets in miniature scale: 10041/6390 Main Street.
A MOCpage featuring the model:

Brickshelf folder (once public):

And, yes, I realize the red building would have looked better with two red 1 x
4 arches, but I only had one in my colelction, so I went with two white arches
instead.
Some thoughts about microscale:
- Its hard (at least for me, its difficult to create in this scale - maybe it will get easier with practice, but I found it to be quite challenging).
- Its neat seeing two scales side-by-side. I especially liked having the real set (which I got at the Lego Outlet this past Brickfest) next to the microscale version. Guess Ill have to create a Duplo version next to that - hahaha.
- Non-Lego people I have shown it to thought it was neat - having the real set next to it helped them get it, I think.
