Hello happy builders,

Pedro Silva writes to Jon Furman in http://news.lugnet.com/castle/?n=20080
"Have you made any attempt towards a "horseshoe arch"? I think they're
impossible with LEGO, but it sure would be nice to see one!"

And there was my challenge!

Here are the pictures of my attempt.

In addition you will find in this folder the real one as well.

With all the Star Wars tiles I've tried to make some motives in the wall.

It was all together a fun thing to build.

Now the bigger  'macaroni' type bricks are out (HP sets),
it is a challenge to build bigger archs,
although I'm not sure it will work out as expected,
because they are 3x3 (instead of 2x2).

Please let me know what you think.

Thanks and best regards

Daan Bargerbos

Ooh, that is really cool. I like the printed tiles back there. (20 years ago, 30-Jun-04, to lugnet.castle)
