  P-38 Contest Entry: SA-380 Dragonfly MOC
 
Hello, I've finally gotten around to posting pictures of my entry for the space P-38 contest. (URL) (click the pic for post mod b-shelf folder) This craft is an attack fighter/light bomber. Hi Douglas, I went on BrickShelf to check it, it's a very nice P38 you designed. It is almost studless, SNOTed (MORVEd :-))everywhere. I especially like the use of the blue 1x3x12 slope on the sides. (...) The blue 1x3x12 wedges really give the fuselage a nice smooth shape that blends well from the nose to the "wings". I really was aiming for a very P-38 like design, but not exactly like a P-38. (...) Thanks for taking time to comment. I have always been inspired by your work. It would not take too much imagination to convert this desigin into an evolved y-wing type of ship. Actually, a y-wing MOC itself could have been a contest entry in (...) (21 years ago, 26-Mar-04, to lugnet.space, FTX)
