    Debut MOC, Terp Sculpture —Daniel Rubin
   Hello all, I've been lurking here for months, and am now ready to unlurk. Here is a sculpture of the Unveristy of Maryland mascot Testudo, which I finished in time to show at brickfest. This sculpture is just over 26 inches tall and used in the (...) (21 years ago, 16-Aug-03, to lugnet.announce.moc, lugnet.build.sculpture)

   Hi Daniel, Nice job! I really like the detail in the shell :) Have a question for you though: the feet seem kinda small, how stable is he? Very nice.    (...) snip Anne He's actually pretty stable, at least in terms of standing still. It's hard to see in the pictures, but he has a somewhat long heel sticking out in the back. You can bump the table he is on, and he may rock, but in general won't (...) (21 years ago, 19-Aug-03, to lugnet.build.sculpture)
