Here's my latest SW addition: An actual size replica of Han Solo frozen in carbonite. (URL) in at just over 10,000 bricks, Han took about three months to build from concept to finished model. -Nathan Sawaya (21 years ago, 7-Jul-03, to lugnet.announce.moc, lugnet.build.sculpture, lugnet.starwars) !!

(...) Thanks! It's not solid at all. There is the outside frame, and then an interior structure for support which is easily removable. The entire frame was built to be mobile and folds down (there are LEGO hinges on the inside) to smaller pieces. (...) (21 years ago, 7-Jul-03, to lugnet.build.sculpture)

(...) Thanks! I think I just wanted to make something that hadn't been done before. As for the internal structure, it's just a few cross beams used for support. Nothing special.
