Howdy All-
This press release is a few days old, but nobody else posted it (that I could
find). The only think news worthy, is a Knights' Kingdom CD for the Creator
software. Happy Reading!

LEGO Media Announces New Products for 2000
Company Unveils New Children's Games and Redesigned Web Site for the New Year
ENFIELD, Conn., Feb. 10 /PRNewswire/ -- LEGO Media International, Inc., who
develops, publishes and markets media products for children between the ages of
two and 16, today announces the first portion of its new line-up of games that
features all-new virtual action and adventures based on the appeal and natural
play patterns of LEGO(R) bricks. In addition, LEGO Media has unveiled its
revamped Internet site at http://www.LEGOMEDIA.com .
"We're very excited about our new offerings for 2000," says Gregg Sauter,
Director of Sales and Marketing for LEGO Media International. "The concepts are
great, we're once again supporting the console game platforms and we're building
a strong yet diversified library of software."
Technology heads back to medieval ages with LEGO Creator System: Knights'
Kingdom(TM) CD-ROM, the second title in a series launched in 1998 with the best-
selling, award-winning LEGO Creator(TM) CD-ROM.
Featuring three levels of game play, each with its own relative user interface,
the game gives children access to all the characters and bricks found in the new
LEGO Knights' Kingdom play range in a virtual build-and-play world. Players
receive challenge objectives for each level and activity. Success is rewarded
with access to additional LEGO elements for use in the game.
Slated for release this Fall, LEGO Creator System: Knights' Kingdom CD-ROM, ages
6+, will have a suggested retail price of $29.95.
LEGO Media opens the turnstiles to a whole new kind of LEGOLAND family park with
LEGOLAND(R) CD-ROM, which ships to retail in April.
Designed specifically with kids in mind and based on main attractions found at
LEGOLAND family parks in California, Denmark and England, LEGOLAND CD-ROM allows
children to let their imaginations run wild creating their very own virtual
LEGOLAND theme park. Kids put their problem solving skills to the test with the
many challenges of micro-managing a theme park and keeping guests happy and
entertained.
Available in April, LEGOLAND CD-ROM, ages 6+, will have a suggested retail price
of $29.95.
Dig into a world of high adventure with LEGO Rock Raiders(TM) for the
PlayStation(R) game console. The first LEGO Media game developed simultaneously
with a LEGO construction toy theme, Rock Raiders is a level-based action/
strategy game where players guide the Rock Raiders team on a dangerous
underground mission to collect LEGO Brickonium. But watch out for flowing lava,
cave-ins, rockslides, slimy slugs, black bats and vicious Rock Monsters!
LEGO Rock Raiders PSX, ages 8+, ships this spring with a suggested retail price
of $29.95.
Check out the redesigned LEGO Media web page at http://www.LEGOMEDIA.com ,
featuring downloadable game demos, free desktop wallpaper, tips and strategies
for popular LEGO Media computer and video games, information on the newest books
from LEGO Media and online building instructions for LEGO Creator(TM) CD-ROM.
New content will be added to www.LEGOMEDIA.com in the coming months, including
online games, localized language support, email postcards and an all-new press
area.
