Hi everybody,
due to repeated requests and more appropriately due to the poor
performance of
ads in general when it comes to refinancing the costs for hosting and
maintenance, I have taken the decision to drop ads from LUGNET altogether.
Most of the removal should be complete by now - if you hit pages where I
missed
to remove the ads display code, please reply to this thread or drop me
an email
and I shall do the needful.
My plan is to keep LUGNET alive for everybody who still enjoys to visit this
place for reference or just for a glimpse of what was once the go-to
location
for enthusiasts of the brick-building hobby.
As resources (and I'm not counting the time I'm throwing in myself) do
not come
cheap and many have offered to do so, I will be grateful for donations
sent to
paypal@lugnet.com. No obligations - I'm grateful for anything and I'm
just as
grateful if you just come by every now and then and still enjoy the site.
