Members of the Southern California LEGO Train Club set up the world’s largest US flag made of LEGO bricks at LEGOLAND California last Friday night.

Originally built at the Orange County Fair in 2005 over a 3 day period and rebuilt at LEGOLAND on July 4, 2006 in just one day, the flag was reassembled this year in just 90 minutes from 26 pre-assembled half-stripes. The 127,000 brick structure is built almost entirely of 2x2 bricks (except for some tiles, 1x6 bricks, and various pieces used to make the stars and flag pole). The flag will be on display now through Friday July 6, 2007.
