BRICKSWEST™ 2003 REGISTRATION UPDATE-NEW OPTIONS ADDED
January 8, 2003—Today BrickMedia™, LLC (http://www.brickmedia.com/) and the
volunteer committee of organizers is announcing updated registration options
and policies for the second-annual premiere West Coast LEGO® fan event,
BricksWest 2003.
In this update, we have added several new attendee types, including several
options for children. Additions to BricksWest registration are as follows:
Daily Attendee - $25.00 per day, Saturday and Sunday only, walk-in only (no
pre-registration)
Price includes Pavilion access and conference sessions only. This is the day
rate for attendees who can only be with us for a limited amount of time. Due
to the nature of our special dinner event, walk-in attendees on that day are
not able to join us for the meal portion of the event. Daily attendees are
not eligible for add-on LEGOLAND passes or event shirts.
Child Attendees
All minor attendees age 18 and under are required to return a completed
Parent/Guardian Approval Waiver and be accompanied and supervised by a paid
adult attendee at all times during the entire event. Waivers will be
delivered with registration confirmation.
Full Child Attendee, Ages 13-18 - $50.00
Price includes full conference access, Pavilion access, special event
dinner, t-shirt, registration package. This is the full-boat child attendee,
who plans on attending conference sessions throughout the weekend.
Limited Child Attendee, Ages 12 and under - $25.00
Price includes Pavilion access, special event dinner, t-shirt, registration
package. This price is for children who wish to receive all event materials
in the registration package, which this fee covers. Conference sessions are
provided free of charge.
Basic Child Attendee, Ages 12 and under - FREE
Conference sessions and special dinner event are provided free of charge. No
registration is required for this level of attendance.
These options are in addition to our standard attendee registration types:
Full Attendee - $50.00
Price includes full conference access, Pavilion access, special event
dinner, t-shirt, registration package. This is the full-boat attendee, who
plans on attending conference sessions throughout the weekend.
Limited Attendee - $25.00
Price includes Pavilion access, special event dinner, t-shirt, registration
package. This is a great package for your non-LEGO significant other who
might want to join you during our group activities, but would rather explore
Carlsbad while you attend conference sessions.

Designed for the Adult Fan Of LEGO (AFOL), families, and children of all
ages, BricksWest has become the premiere West Coast gathering for fans of
the brick. The event will take place in beautiful Carlsbad, California, home
of the LEGOLAND™ California theme park
(http://www.lego.com/eng/legoland/california/).
This second annual gathering will again take place President's Day Weekend,
February 14 - 17, 2003.
