  Classic 2-Wide Trains

Here are some 2-wide trains I've been pottering about with over the last few weekends. Ah, sweet memories... (URL) The rest of the retro gallery is here: (URL) Enjoy! (posted on behalf of) Pete Reid (not just a robot builder) (18 years ago, 22-Apr-06, to lugnet.trains, lugnet.announce.moc, lugnet.build.microscale, FTX) !!

  Chessie GP35

Keeping with my purist nature, and not willing to use stickers of any kind, a fellow NGLTC member, Lewis Valentine, challenged me to build the Chessie cat logo small enough to fit on an engine. I gladly accepted the challenge and here is the result: (...) (18 years ago, 20-Apr-06, to lugnet.announce.moc, lugnet.trains, lugnet.build.schleim, FTX) !!

  My first vignette--The Apology

This MOC was built to compliment a haiku I recently wrote. The haiku is titled "The Apology." I like you, but not Enough to take you to the Hospital. Sorry. (URL) Please let me know what you think. Derek (18 years ago, 21-Apr-06, to lugnet.build.vignette, lugnet.announce.moc, FTX) !!

  New Moc: Kestrel

Hello all, I have been very busy as of late. What with buying a house, moving in, and preparing for the arrival of our first child (she is due May 6, btw), I haven’t had much time for building. The pimp my Mech contest got me all up in arms to use (...) (18 years ago, 21-Apr-06, to lugnet.build.mecha, lugnet.announce.moc, lugnet.space)

  Viking Knarr (or Knorr)

Ahoy etc Although the longship is the iconic viking vessel, the knarr (or knorr) was generally the vessel of choice for trading. (URL) My knarr (or knorr) is shorter than my longship (only two hull centre sections). The rail is a perhaps fanciful, (...)   Little Norwegian Shunter NSB 2 842

Hi all, It's been a while since I've made a new train here (and even longer since I posted one based on a prototype) and I was feeling a bit of withdrawal so I went hunting for something fun to design. My search stopped at (URL) this> cute little (...) (18 years ago, 20-Apr-06, to lugnet.trains, lugnet.announce.moc, lugnet.loc.no, FTX)

  BAAL - Artillery Mech

(URL) This is my first mech build. Even though this is a small mech, it was a good learning experience and was definitely different than building spaceships. Any comments, criticism and suggestions on how to improve future builds are very (...) (18 years ago, 18-Apr-06, to lugnet.announce.moc, lugnet.build.mecha, lugnet.space, FTX) !
