Will it work with any quick-cam type camera or only the Lego Cam? I got a copy

until this weekend)

Mark - Did you have a chance to try this out yet?  I'm curious myself about
whether the software will work with other hardware.  I was going to guess
that the answer is "yes" - that if you have some other type of camera hooked
up to your computer via USB for video capture then I would think the Studios
program would recognize the input.

I have another set up from Pinnacle Systems - the company that created the
LEGO software - that is called PCTV Studios USB.  The video editing features
and functions are very similar to what I've seen of Studios.  I only
recently realized that the hardware for this set up (a plastic "box" with
input jacks that plugs into the usb port of my pc) could also be used for
other applications that use video capturing such as Stop Motion Animator and
MS NetMeeting.

Somehow, in some twisted form of logic, this leads me to believe that if my
hardware from Pinnacle can be used with other software, then probably the
software in Studios that was also made by Pinnacle could be used with other
hardware.

So did it work?
