| | Hi there, last weekend a small group of LEGO designers took a couple of prototypes to the fabulous german fan event in Frechen. Very huge cars, for which the ambassadors initiated a poll (what car should LEGO make?). Mustang (4 URLs) Aston Martin (4 (...) (18 years ago, 10-Jan-07, to lugnet.ambassadors, FTX) !!

| | | | (...) Hi Stephan, Thanks for sharing these images. Are you saying this thread is a poll, and you'd like feedback here? Or were you saying these designs are as a result of a poll? I ask because there was a poll on LEGOFan several months ago that I (...) (18 years ago, 10-Jan-07, to lugnet.ambassadors, FTX)

| | | | | (...) You're right, I didn't wrote it clearly enough. The designer wanted to get the local fan's opinion via pen & paper (very classic and userful way ;)) Actually I didn't know anything about an online poll. So this posting was just for letting you (...) (18 years ago, 10-Jan-07, to lugnet.ambassadors, FTX)

| | | | | | (...) Ah, I see. Thanks for clarifying. And since they already have their poll info, I won't spoil anything by saying that the original LEGOFan poll showed the VW in the lead by a long margin. And the VW model shown in this thread is also one of the (...) (18 years ago, 11-Jan-07, to lugnet.ambassadors, FTX)

| | | | | (...) Hi Stephan, thanks for sharing this great topic to the lugnet'ers as well. But why not offering everybody to say his/her opinion right here in the lugnet newsboard. This might give TLC another bunch of information ... I try to remember the (...) (18 years ago, 11-Jan-07, to lugnet.ambassadors, FTX)

| | | | (...) Hi, Very nice designs. I just fell the overall look too much "grey". Well I guess it's a reasonable choice for cars produced before the 70ies. And what about the DeLorean? She's obviously modified to fit the look of Back to the Future movie (...) (18 years ago, 11-Jan-07, to lugnet.ambassadors, FTX)

| | | | | Hi Didier, (...) These models are moreless scatch models. They are all grey/black only to get an idea of the size and the details or the choice between studs, tiles or both building ways. They didn't cared about the colors at all. So don't worry (...) (18 years ago, 11-Jan-07, to lugnet.ambassadors, FTX)

| | | | I gotta tell you I really love the modular town idea, and I really like the attention paid to architectural design. I just really hope LEGO prices these well enough for them to be a real hit. Bravo! (18 years ago, 12-Jan-07, to lugnet.ambassadors, FTX)
