LEGO Ambassador

On Behalf of Teddy Welsh Id like to say...
Ambassador Welsh, it just roles off the tongue. Teddys in touch with many
aspects of the LEGO universe. Of course, Teddy is a phenomenal builder, his most
obvious/often viewed masterpiecethe Notre Dame bridge that used to span the
Merrimac River in Manchester NHis on display as part of the Millyard project in
the SEE Science Center in Manchester, NH. Even more amazing than his building
prowess is his willingness to invite all comers to participate. For example,
Teddy volunteered to coordinate a Moonbase for BrickBlast 2006 and 2007, and he
invited everyone who created standards compliant modules to join his Moonbase.
Teddy joked that he isnt quite as uptight as some of us train guys. But wait,
it doesnt stop there! Teddy uses LEGO in his mathematics classes where he
encourages his students, future teachers themselves, to use LEGO in their
classrooms. He really has a lot to offer. As a talented adult fan, he knows how
to build, and he knows what makes the LEGO experience so valuable. As an
educator and a volunteer, he gets to interact with kids and pass on his love of
learning and the brick. Because of Teddys love of the brick and his knack for
working with people, I think he would make an excellent ambassador.
Sincerely,
Chris Masi
