Re: Prototypes shown at fan event in Frechen (germany)

(...) I can see where the new creator set (below from Eurobricks) fits in. I can hardly wait to buy! (URL) (18 years ago, 11-Jan-07, to lugnet.ambassadors, FTX)

Re: Prototypes shown at fan event in Frechen (germany)

(...) Hi, Very nice designs. I just fell the overall look too much "grey". Well I guess it's a reasonable choice for cars produced before the 70ies. And what about the DeLorean? She's obviously modified to fit the look of Back to the Future movie (...) (18 years ago, 11-Jan-07, to lugnet.ambassadors, FTX)

Re: Prototypes shown at fan event in Frechen (germany)

(...) Ah, I see. Thanks for clarifying. And since they already have their poll info, I won't spoil anything by saying that the original LEGOFan poll showed the VW in the lead by a long margin. And the VW model shown in this thread is also one of the (...) (18 years ago, 11-Jan-07, to lugnet.ambassadors, FTX)

Re: Prototypes shown at fan event in Frechen (germany)

(...) You're right, I didn't wrote it clearly enough. The designer wanted to get the local fan's opinion via pen & paper (very classic and userful way ;)) Actually I didn't know anything about an online poll. So this posting was just for letting you (...) (18 years ago, 10-Jan-07, to lugnet.ambassadors, FTX)

Re: Prototypes shown at fan event in Frechen (germany)

(...) Hi Stephan, Thanks for sharing these images. Are you saying this thread is a poll, and you'd like feedback here? Or were you saying these designs are as a result of a poll? I ask because there was a poll on LEGOFan several months ago that I (...) (18 years ago, 10-Jan-07, to lugnet.ambassadors, FTX)

Prototypes shown at fan event in Frechen (germany)

Hi there, last weekend a small group of LEGO designers took a couple of prototypes to the fabulous german fan event in Frechen. Very huge cars, for which the ambassadors initiated a poll (what car should LEGO make?). Mustang (4 URLs) Aston Martin (4 (...) (18 years ago, 10-Jan-07, to lugnet.ambassadors, FTX) !!

  Re: Your LEGO Dream Set?

Creator Houses should easily become Dollhouses by having: Family Minifigs: father, mother, daughter, son, baby. I have been missing the Lego women. Furniture Creator set: to make better chairs, dressers, cabinetry and, of course, a piano. (18 years ago, 5-Jan-07, to lugnet.ambassadors, FTX)

  Re: Your LEGO Dream Set?

(...) Something like this set. (URL) would not need to be in the classic colors (I can oly dream), but would have a good selection of the more specialized castle parts. It would be reasonable to me at $24.99. If you do akeyword search on Brickshelf (...) (18 years ago, 22-Dec-06, to lugnet.ambassadors, FTX)

  Re: Your LEGO Dream Set?

My dream set would be a 2 foot tall mecha with golden armor and two extremly sharp gold swords and I would pay up to 100 dollars for it. (18 years ago, 1-Dec-06, to lugnet.ambassadors, FTX)

  Re: Your LEGO Dream Set?

In my experience the best LEGO sets cost between $.07 and $.09 per piece. Less than that and you've got nothing but basic bricks-- important, but not flexible enough to be interesting by themselves. More than than and you're getting too many (...) (18 years ago, 30-Nov-06, to lugnet.ambassadors, FTX)

  Re: Your LEGO Dream Set?

(...) Very nice, I like the detail and smoothness of the sphere. Excellent work. That’s pretty close to the size of what I’d love to see from LEGO (although theirs could be a bit smaller, to save cost), and it might be nice to have some rough (...)
