  Re: dino-craigo-lego

Er, in rereading this I think it's not quite the right tone. (...) If one were to read into the above that I felt Eric Harshbarger's creations were less than stunning, or easy enough that anyone could have done them, then I fear I am right about the (...) (...) I'll second that! Way to go, Craig!!! (...) I like 'em all, but my favorite is the dino2.jpg image -- I wouldn't mess with that monster! :) Dinosaurs aren't (normally) my cup of tea either, but lately I've been tinkering with Duplosaurs so (...)   Re: dino-craigo-lego

(...) Yes. These amazing models got me thinking of the dinosaurs at the Mall of America. Much much much bigger (some are over 8 feet tall at least) but ultimately... LESS impressive. Why? Because they're so big all the builder had to do was get the (...) (26 years ago, 7-Feb-00, to lugnet.build, lugnet.adventurers, lugnet.general)

(...) That's Awesome! Craig, you never stop surprising me ;-) "into CW 24 hours a day..." Yeah right :-) Those dinos look great, I especially love the triceratop - I liked the "little-foot" movie as a girl (or whatever that was called), and "Sera" (...)   FOTD: 5976 River Expedition, short review comments

Wandered into my friendly neighborhood Ames (East coast chain similar to K-Mart). This place's LEGO section used to be a horror, with boxes stacked and thrown in haphazardly...but that meant that there were often older sets mixed in. I saw with (...)   Big plane in 2000 catalog

Does anyone know which set includes the big plane pictured above the "2000" on page ten of the US Lego 2000 catalog? (here is a link: (URL) did anyone order Sphinx's Secret Surprise from the on-line Walmart when it was $9? Or the balloon? I ordered (...) (26 years ago, 31-Jan-00, to lugnet.adventurers)
