(...) i must agree, mark! while the y2k castle sets get less exciting to me the more i look at them, these dino island sets are the cream of the crap! i really love the quarter circle type green baseplates, but it is odd that there are no palm trees (...) Huw's great web site now has pictures of all the 200 sets, including the Dino Island sets. What can I say? They are much better than the Amazon sets. There is even a frighter ship! The pontoon plane is great, and even the base look wonderful! I (...) (26 years ago, 5-Dec-99, to lugnet.adventurers)

(...) I don't know what the big 'L' calls it, but I think it's a Slipper Clutch. They're used all over the place in r/c race cars, to protect the drivetrain, both the motor and the gears/belts, from the abuse of a heavy throttle finger and/or rough (...)
