  Toward LUGNET equality

Adventurers, Some here at LUGNET are not too happy with postings put in this group recently. That is unfortunate. A few individuals have deemed that all of us are not discussing things 100% lego at all times. Should I be searching for another forum (...)   DATventures

Well, I suggested as a possibility for fellow adventurers that someone might want to do an adventures themed datsville, so to speak... You'd have to pick the theme, etc., but it might be fun! If you don't know what Datsville is, check out: (URL) (...) (26 years ago, 3-Nov-99, to lugnet.adventurers)

Re: The Greatest Adventure Movies List

(...) I must agree... actually, I think it belongs more in off-topic.fun, but certainly not in lugnet.general... I'm purposely putting this in lugnet.adventures because I responded with a note about this earlier, but since it didn't go to (...) (26 years ago, 3-Nov-99, to lugnet.adventurers)

Re: The Greatest Adventure Movies List

I hate to sound snooty, but could this be kept to lugnet.adventurers (I'm not sure it even belongs there instead of in lugnet.off-topic.fun, but at least it's related to the topic)? followups to lugnet.admin.general (26 years ago, 3-Nov-99, to lugnet.adventurers, lugnet.general)

  Re: 4x2ReVu: 5938 Oasis Ambush

(...) I am all choked up Joseph. My opinion actually counts for something? Thank God for internet LEGO discussion groups! People do listen...now if I could get my wife and kids to do the same. Wishful thinking I know. Cheers Joseph, Mark L (26 years ago, 3-Nov-99, to lugnet.adventurers, lugnet.reviews)

(...) One more reassessment on an original rating. I'm going to give the set six out of eight studs for a simply-designed but well-defined model. Thanks to Mark Lindsey for asking about my conservative ratings on this wonderful theme that made me (...) (26 years ago, 3-Nov-99, to lugnet.adventurers, lugnet.reviews)

In lugnet.reviews, Joseph Gonzalez writes: --snipped review-- (...) Just doing a quick reassessment on a couple of reviews. This set really deserves to be a seven-stud set for its great vehicles and a plethora of accessories for the minifigs. I (...) (26 years ago, 3-Nov-99, to lugnet.reviews, lugnet.adventurers)

Egyptian Temple - A new undertaking

Well, last night (having no AT-AT to work on) I started playing around with my new project-- an ancient Egyptian temple... I think I've got the basic tan bricks to start it (I made a pretty sizeable tan rock face last night-- about 36 studs wide, 21 (...) (26 years ago, 3-Nov-99, to lugnet.adventurers)

Re: The Greatest Adventure Movies List

(...) They are musical comedies. The basic plot of them has Hope & Crosby as two adventuring buddies traveling in the world, getting into trouble with the locals in an exotic locale (such as a South Pacific Island, Arabia, the Yukon during the gold (...)   Re: The Greatest Adventure Movies List

(...) Thanks Richard. If you are like me you'll cram in all of the movies in a two week period. After that you will be chock full o' LEGO inspirations! Mark L (26 years ago, 3-Nov-99, to lugnet.adventurers)
