Re: Little scenery: The Journey to the Center of the Earth

(...) Neat! I like the idea of filling up a whole shelf with a diorama. I'm looking forward to seeing the other shelves. Cross-posted to .underground. Marc Nelson Jr. (URL) Marc's Creations>> (18 years ago, 29-Nov-06, to lugnet.adventurers, lugnet.underground, FTX)

Little scenery: The Journey to the Center of the Earth

Hello! I want to show you a little scenery: The Adventurers and the Journey to the Center of the Earth. Inspiration give me Jules Verne with his novel Journey to the Center of the Earth. (URL) Here you can find all pictures of this scenery: (URL) I (...) (18 years ago, 29-Nov-06, to lugnet.adventurers, FTX) !

  18th Century Howitzer

I was playing around with guns for an American Revolutionary War project that I'm working on when I came up with this. I thought I'd share, since cannon designs seem to be in short supply. (URL) Ideally the gun carriage should all be brown, but I (...) (18 years ago, 30-Sep-06, to lugnet.build.military, lugnet.adventurers, lugnet.announce.moc, lugnet.pirates, FTX) !!

Re: Cthulego - The Burrower Brickneath.

(...) Bravo! I always found Lovecraft a little too dry and straight-faced to be really frightening so I find your ebullient, spectacular interpretation far more enjoyable. I'd love to see you mock up a five-set theme in fake packaging. I couldn't go (...) (18 years ago, 29-Sep-06, to lugnet.adventurers, FTX)

Re: Cthulego - The Burrower Brickneath.

(...) Thanks George - good luck with the treatment! Just a note for everyone who's asked why Doctor Who (from the BBC sci-fi time travelling TV series) is included here? Because: 1. When I was growing up in the 70's and 80's many of the Doctors foes (...) (18 years ago, 27-Sep-06, to lugnet.adventurers, FTX)

Re: Cthulego - The Burrower Brickneath.

(...) Mark, I'd like to say this is a wonderful MOC, full of incredible detail, like the corrugated sided airplane, the old style roadsters, the Rat Patrol style machine gunning jeep and the oddly out of place Police call box, but the hideous, (...)   Re: Cthulego - The Burrower Brickneath.

(...) That is just amazing. The fact that someone ELSE read the series, and that you did it in lego. good job. Chris (18 years ago, 26-Sep-06, to lugnet.adventurers, FTX)

Re: Cthulego - The Burrower Brickneath.

Simply awesome! I have to admit, though, that I was hoping to see another implementation of (URL) But, I still love it! (18 years ago, 25-Sep-06, to lugnet.adventurers, FTX)

Re: Cthulego - The Burrower Brickneath.

(...) <snip> (...) Once again, excellent job. This has so much detail and the main mouth is downright scary. love all the little touches, and how you have brought lovecraft to the small build. I would probably favour your sea side one over this, but (...) (18 years ago, 25-Sep-06, to lugnet.adventurers, FTX)

Very nice! I particularly like the plane. Your work is being admired on Eurobricks as well. God Bless, Nathan Visit my brickshelf gallery: (URL) (pic=link) (18 years ago, 24-Sep-06, to lugnet.adventurers, FTX)

  Cthulego - The Burrower Brickneath.

Hi, this is my new Cthulego diorama. It was going to be unveiled exclusively at Legoworld this year, but due to a change in circumstances I'm not sure how much of the event (if any) I will be present for or for that matter when after next Friday I (...)   Re: Steampunk Dirigible: The Leslie Anne Levine

(...) Thanks for the praise, Nick. I'll make a steampunk convert out of you yet. You're right about the detail, but I would substitute "attention to" with "agonizing over". Keep this a secret, but I put off finishing it for months because I couldn't (...) (18 years ago, 11-Jul-06, to lugnet.adventurers, FTX)

Re: Steampunk Dirigible: The Leslie Anne Levine

(...) I can see what you're saying, and I probably wouldn't have chosen these colors were I just dreaming up an airship to build on my own, but this project came about through very particular circumstances: I was trying to build an airship with (...)   Re: Steampunk Dirigible: The Leslie Anne Levine

(...) I consider steampunk to be nothing more than straight-up witchcraft voodoo, so I was surprised to find that I like this. As always with your MOCs, it's the attention to fine detail that makes this - the log bricks in the tail for a feathered (...) (18 years ago, 10-Jul-06, to lugnet.adventurers, FTX)

Re: Steampunk Dirigible: The Leslie Anne Levine

(...) Not really digging the colors on the balloons. Red and Blue clash too much with each other, and with the dark colors of the airship itself. I'd suggest replacing one of the colors with white. Otherwise, it looks great. :) Jeff (18 years ago, 10-Jul-06, to lugnet.adventurers, FTX)

Steampunk Dirigible: The Leslie Anne Levine

(URL) I decided to finish one of my many half-built MOCs last week, and it actually happened. This ship was based off a Decemberists poster with 17th-century dirigibles on, and so I figured it needed a Decemberists name to go with. PLMKWYT, I (...)   Seeking Lugnet community help for a freeware computer game

Hello, I'm working on a free computer game, for a competition promoting accessibility in gaming.   Damsel: "I'm in distress? What distress?"

Hello all, I've build a vignette which I'm able to wear as a badge during events.
