One starting point: check out the way Lego used to make horses out of bricks and plates. See sets 372, 373, 383, 617, 726, or 1592. There have been some brilliant cows made of sideways parts. Hey guys, I am developing a lego safari theme,but I was running into problems with my animals. I have horses,sharks and an octopus,but those aren't very exotic. Any suggestions for building my own lego animals? Later, Joshua (21 years ago, 8-Jul-03, to lugnet.adventurers)

(...) Sounds like a nice ship. I need to get several for the Pirate games at Gen Con (after a recent building spree I'm up to 19 cutters but am now out of sails).
