Just a short note - while working on something else, I ran into a bug I
forgot about. When posting to multiple groups via SMTP, the poster
would get multiple copies of the authentication message - one for every
group posted to - even though any of them would authorize the post to
all groups.
I managed to track it down and fix it - if anyone sees this behaviour
continue, please let me know.
As a side effect, I would estimate that the mail load on the server has
dropped by about 80% - which would help make things a little faster.
