Hehe. I wouldn't bet on it Matt, you post a *lot*! But there's nothing wrong
with that... even as 8th place you posted a lot less than the top twenty
last your, I think (too lazy to check). As someone here pointed out, last
year had many significant posters (with over 1000 each or more) while this
year... just barely... a lot more people posting a lot less often.
Personally I decreased my posting by a factor of 3 - that's an amazing
decrease - and that counts both for rank and for amount of posts (~2750 last
year, exactly 900 this year; 5th place last year, 15th this year). I don't
know, I've felt a lot less motivated to post lately. I try not to echo
me-toos quite as much, and I don't have near enough time to browse all the
groups like I used to. When I don't have anything *extremely* original to
say I usually shut up (which is very different than last year!). I regret it
sometimes, but then again, I really had too much extra time on my hands from
Jan. 2000 until late June that year... which would explain most of my posts.
But the past school year was all hard work, and now, well, I just don't have
the internet availability I did in Boston.
Happy New Year everyone... here's to Lugnet!
