Hi Jerry, Reporting something here that I think might be a recent bug: Even when I'm signed in, I'm not seeing the Author field in the headers on any new posts. Is there a problem with authentication e-mails? I've posted two messages via NNTP yesterday and not yet received an authentication e-mail, plus I submitted a multiple post authentication request from the web site and have not yet received that (...) (15 years ago, 29-Sep-11, to lugnet.admin.nntp)

(...) Looks like there's a bug in the code that's generating the sidebar. As a temporary fix (until the underlying problem is repaired), I'm running an automatic "fixer" once a minute that should repair the autogenerated code. So, the problem may (...)
