For some reason, I am getting this error whenever I get to the LUGNET main page, and it doesn't build most of the page: ___...___ Top Stories An internal server error occurred: syntax error at data_topstories.inc.pl line 8, near "Ben" Compilation (...) (19 years ago, 13-Jun-07, to lugnet.admin.nntp)

I have just rebuilt my Windows machine and reconfigured my news reader (OE) and now I am unable to post and I am not sure why. I don't think I did anything different than I have done in the past. I get this error when I try and post: Outlook Express (...) (19 years ago, 22-Mar-07, to lugnet.admin.nntp)

Sorry I didn't notice this sooner: (...) No. The e-mail addresses that get "spam-me-notted" (should consider trademarking this ;-) ) are those that come from the news headers. You can't reliably identify e-mail addresses in the body of messages, so (...) (19 years ago, 27-Nov-06, to lugnet.admin.nntp)

Hi. 2 Issues... 1) E-Mail Addresses in formal headers get munged but not those in the body of a message. Is there an easy soloution to this? 2) Google seems to deep crawl the Lugnet site, is there a way of controlling this? (20 years ago, 2-Sep-06, to lugnet.admin.nntp)

Folks, I need to apologize, we are preparing a new server for lugnet.com and somehow today's transfer of data seems to have spawned a number of news-to-mail forwards for you subscribers out there. I'm getting a bunch of old posts via email all at once. Stuff from at least the end of April, probably older. I know this has happned a couple of years ago and I got something like 300+ emails in a very short time. I assume it's not just me at this (...) Hello, I wonder whether anyone else is having this problem: My newsreader (Xananews 1.18.1.3) can only download one message body at a time from the Lugnet news server, i.e. if I try and have it download several messages, such as in a whole thread, (...)
