  Use of lugnet.lego.direct and lugnet.dear-lego

I'd like to make a suggestion on the use of lugnet.lego.direct and lugnet.dear-lego. Of late there has been much "debate" about whether TLC is doing "the right thing" or not, or somewhere in between. While some very legitimate concerns are getting (...) (25 years ago, 4-Feb-01, to lugnet.lego.direct, lugnet.dear-lego, lugnet.admin.general)

Re: Email copies of lugnet posts still working ?

(...) Hmm, I don't see that email address (nor anything containing 'sanders' or 'svic', for that matter) anywhere in the subscription database. What do you see when you go here?-- (URL) (25 years ago, 4-Feb-01, to lugnet.admin.general)

Re: Email copies of lugnet posts still working ?

(...) They should be going to my nominal address 'Ray Sanders <rsanders@svic.net>'. Thats where they were going to up until sometime on the 1st. Since then nothing. I have had some problems with outgoing email, but other inbound is working (as far (...) (25 years ago, 4-Feb-01, to lugnet.admin.general)

Re: Email copies of lugnet posts still working ?

(...) Hmm, I don't see any bounce messages bearing your name or email address, and I don't see your email address listed in the subscription database. What email address are you receiving posts at? I can look and see what the server thinks it should (...) (25 years ago, 4-Feb-01, to lugnet.admin.general)

Email copies of lugnet posts still working ?

Todd, Its been a few days since I received any email'ed copies of my lugnet posts. Is something broken ? The last one I got was two days ago. If my ISP is rejecting them, I *would* like to know about it. Ray (25 years ago, 4-Feb-01, to lugnet.admin.general)

Re: Netscape 6 Uglyness (was: Re: Filtering out Bionicle/Slizer/Roboriders posts)

(...) OK I guess it was my bad, I just tested it and it does come back with a warning message. It must have been me being "OK" happy when I got the message the first time. So it does warn you although the only choices are "OK" and "Cancel" so it (...) (25 years ago, 3-Feb-01, to lugnet.admin.general)

(...) Good thought! Thanks for mentioning this problem!!! (...) Eeek! -- that's worse than any accidental double-posting thing that MSIE ever did. It resubmitted the form without asking you whether you wanted to resubmit? Yikes!! Say, by chance do (...) (25 years ago, 2-Feb-01, to lugnet.admin.general)

Netscape 6 Uglyness (was: Re: Filtering out Bionicle/Slizer/Roboriders posts)

This may be more of an FYI but I thought I ought to mention it. I recently Installed Netscape 6 and have been posting without a problem for a couple of days now. Today this message was posted as a duplicate doing something I have done with Netscape (...) (25 years ago, 1-Feb-01, to lugnet.admin.general)

  Re: Search Syntax Help Needed

Todd, This is just the sort of thing I needed. Just to make sure, in this example (the last on the page): sensors and methods for mobile robot positioning <//2 you don't use 0s...I assume you can leave them out? -- Thomas Main main@appstate.edu (...)   Re: Set list woes...

Yes i have had offers to buy sets i wanted to buy, (picked up a 8880 Mint at a good price) and other requests, instructions etc. I was quite happy to help them out.
