Since it seems that the packets are behind often - what about opening up the
task for members to do as a part of their donation to Lugnet?  I'm sure
there are some members with some free time who would be delighted to handle
10-20 packets a week or something, to help you and Suz out.  Is this
possible with your system?  Just an idea...I hope it can help you out!

It's not possible, no.  Security and privacy issues as well as technical
logistics.

What I need to do to break the bottleneck is change the way I print cards.
Most of the steps of the other stuff are automated but there is a manual
step with the cards.  I need to ditch the app I'm using with Windoze for
this and have the cards automagically printed via ghostscript using scripts
running on my home Linux box.  Laminating is fast, stuffing envelopes and
applying labels and stamps is pretty fast.

Maybe it would be too much overshoot for the job, but last week some
computer company send me an advert. It featured a special laser printer,
with he size of an HP 2100, having three separate magazines for advert
brochures/cards, letter papers and envelopes, and it has the ability of
printing the letter, inserting the card/brochure and newly written
letter into the envelope and print the address on the envelope at the
same time, in a single pass..:-).
