One thing which might work well for web posting is to bring up an "are
you sure" panel when a post will be crossposted to 2 or more groups (the
count could exclude certain groups).

It is too easy to cross-post with the web interface as the extra groups don't stand out and are commonly hidden by the width of the 'Newsgroups:' box. If around 50% of (...) (25 years ago, 23-May-00, to lugnet.admin.general)
