It took about an hour to write, and a couple hours to build a names database of
about 500 people from here and from RTL.

It's not automatic, but it's not too bad: I have this script that I run which
scans the news messages and asks me about each From: that it doesn't recognize.
Mostly I just hit Enter, Enter, Enter to accept what it thinks is the right
answer. On weird ones, I have to go look up who they are from other various
sources.
I'll make it smarter later so it can do fuzzy guessing, which will save me time
when I run it each morning/evening.
