As a Brit, having LUGNET run on GMT is great, so I can't really complain when
the UK goes into BST and I get all confused :) Is there a low-cpu intensive way
to display the time local to where the person is though? If it was a
member-feature then the system would already have a clue as to where the person
lived.. which would also work as a limiting factor (cpu-wise).
Actually, thinking ahead.. this may be best done client side - and with the
funky stuff that Jeremy Sproat and others are working on, it is totally
possible :)

| (...) Turn on a clock on your display... I have on in my system tray under NT. X has a nice clock that can be digital or analog in appearance. eBay has a way to tell what time it is on the server. Dunno if Lugnet needs that at this point in the (...) (25 years ago, 26-Mar-00, to lugnet.admin.general)
